Bara Brith Like Your Mum Makes – Only at Poco Llandudno
There are some big benefits to having three generations of the same Llandudno family under the Poco Coffee roof.
Tegwen Hughes, mother and grandmother to baristas Christine and Jack, respectively, is the culinary magician behind our bara brith.
The traditional Welsh fruit loaf is a hit with customers, and no wonder – mixed and baked with love to a tried-and-tested homemade recipe, it literally is bara brith ‘like your mum makes.’
Translating as ‘speckled bread,’ the tasty delicacy is a favourite with generations of local families.
We’re delighted to have Tegwen on board with Team Poco, and if you want a taste of the best bara brith in Llandudno, pop in to 14 Gloddaeth Street, and enjoy a slice or two with your coffee.
